Rumor has it that Marvel purchased Spider-Man from Sony. That rumor, is half true. Sony and Marvel share the rights of Spider-Man. Marvel actually paid nothing for the rights of Spider-Man, but they still get to use him in all Marvel movies, including Civil War and The Avengers. Each company gets the movie profits for themselves, and do not have to share with one another. There will be indiviual movies of just Spider-Man alone, but also movies of Spider-Man involved with the Marvel family. |
Spider-Man became Spider-Man when Peter Parker, a 15-year-old high schooler, went to Oscorp for a field trip, and was bitten by a radioactive spider. He thought it was just a normal spider bite, until he was nearly hit by a car, but when he jumped out of the way, he saw he had the senses of a spider. He did not think into it too much until he could stick to walls, and shot out spider webs from his wrists. He lived a normal teenage life as Peter Parker, then when the world was in need of a hero, he went by Spider-Man. |
