The Amazing Spider-Man is also known as Peter Parker, a teenage boy who lost both parents and lives with his aunt and uncle. He is bitten by a radioactive spider while on a field trip at the Oscorp Industries, while looking for some evidence of who his father was and how he passed away. Waking up the next morning, he realizes he is basically a spider, which is where the name Spider-Man came from. Not knowing what to do, he tries to forget about it, but it is nearly impossible when webbing is coming out of his body, he sticks to walls, and has the senses of a spider. He then takes it upon himself to look into the spider that bit him, and along the way helps people in the streets that have some needs. After realizing he is helpful to the people, he decides to become a hero. He makes a suit, webbing fluid to be held in his belt, and a web-shooter where with just a press of his palm, the webbing fluid shoots out. Peter Parker, Spider-Man, becomes a wanted hero very quickly since no one knows who is under the mask. He does not reveal himself to anyone except the love of his life, Gwen Stacey. She helps him when he asks, and also when he doesn't, but he appreciates her anyways. Hiding his secret identity from his aunt and uncle gets hard at times, but they never have suspisions of him being the hero to save them, Spider-Man.
